Storming, Norming, Performing,
and Transforming, is

training program. For each of
the five stages, McCain offers
an explanation and a series of
activities that will help teams
understand and successfully move
through that phase.
It is a rich resource of team
activities and has a wonderful
reference list for more
information about the "Five
Stages."
Dr. Jim Cain is the author of
five adventure-based
teambuilding texts, including
the award winning book
Teamwork & Teamplay, which
received the Karl Rohnke
Creativity Award. He is a Senior
Consultant to the Cornell
University Corporate
Teambuilding Program, holds four
college degrees including a
Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering,
